Oh Snap! Swimwear is a woman-owned brand built on two generations of strength, creativity, and purpose.

Monica Young, our founder and matriarch, brings 25+ years of marketing and PR leadership, including roles with the U.S. military and international women’s organizations. After retiring in 2024, she moved from Brussels, Belgium to launch Oh Snap! Swimwear in sunny Tampa to fuse her love of coastal living with sustainable design.

Jade Sayas, Monica’s oldest daughter and U.S. Air Force veteran, lends sharp strategy and social media expertise to the brand. With three master’s degrees (the third in Entrepreneurship), she’s the engine behind our growth.

Briley Young, the youngest daughter, is a digital storyteller based in Europe. With a background in Media Communications and a keen eye for photo and video, she helps shape our visual identity, and our global future.

The First Wave Collection is made from ECONYL®, a high-quality Italian fabric crafted from regenerated nylon waste like discarded fishing nets and old carpets that would otherwise contribute to environmental pollution. This fabric is 100% recyclable, allowing it to be transformed and reused indefinitely. ECONYL® fabric offers superior durability, resistance to chlorine, sun creams, and oils, and has UV protection of 50+.

Our original art, eco-friendly, sand-free beach towels are a game-changer for sustainable living and water adventures. Made from rPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate), each towel repurposes approximately 20 plastic bottles, keeping waste out of our oceans and landfills. 

With an extra large size of 71 x 40 inches, these towels are both practical and lightweight, making them ideal for beach days, picnics, travel, or yoga.
