I wanted to give an update on our current progress of our new swimwear brand, Oh Snap! Swimwear, designed specifically for women who love their aquatic lifestyle.
Oh Snap! Swimwear is a mother and daughter venture, or should I say adventure, since it has definitely been a very enlightening (full disclosure, we don't have a fashion background) learning experience!
Jade and I chose a factory in Portugal that specializes in swimsuits. There's a lot more to tell you about that process, but we think you'll like the sustainable fabric, imported from Italy. It's sleek, elegant, stretchy, soft, and breathable. Compression and comfort doesn't always go together, but with this unique blend, made from discarded fishing nets, with UV protection, and is resistant to chlorine, sun creams, and tanning oil, it's PERFECT for your water activities!
Because our swimsuits are one-of-a-kind, and we had a vision of how we wanted our swimwear to look and integrate with the aquatic lifestyle, we collaborated with Deepwear, an international fashion agency, for support and advice. There are no other brands currently on the market that offer a functional swimsuit with a purpose. Oh Snap! Swimwear is the solution to keeping your valuables safe while you swim, paddleboard, kayak, jog on the beach, or the many other water activities you love.
We're currently finalizing the details of our third sample, and we feel positive that it is what we envisioned when we started this journey in August 2023. We are beyond excited to see our vision become reality with our brand's first three swimsuits: The Monica, The Jade, and The Briley, named after the founders of Oh Snap! Swimwear.
