Oh Snap! Swimwear was created to solve a problem most women never realized they’d accepted: traditional swimsuits haven’t evolved. I didn’t want to create just another swimsuit; I wanted to solve a real problem for women who live life on the water. So, when I should have been thinking about retirement, with zero fashion experience, my two daughters and I began designing swimwear together, naming each suit after ourselves as a reflection of our shared journey.
Our one-piece swimwear is designed for active, coastal lifestyles; kayaking, boating, beach walks, paddleboarding, and everything in between. Our signature innovation is a discreet zippered swim pocket, paired with an IPX8 waterproof phone pouch that securely holds essentials like a phone or keys. No more hiding valuables in shoes on the beach or worrying about where to leave your phone before heading into the water. Select styles also feature an optional snap-bottom closure, offering added convenience for quick bathroom breaks, changing, or adaptive needs.
Oh Snap! Swimwear is committed to making better choices for the ocean. Our swimsuit fabric is made from regenerated nylon, created from recycled fishing nets and ocean waste. Complementing the collection, our sand-free beach towels are made from recycled plastic bottles (rPET) and feature original, hand-drawn marine-life artwork.
After years of living in Belgium, I relocated to Florida to join my oldest daughter, while my youngest remained in Europe. Together, as a mother and daughter team spanning two continents, we continue to build our sustainable brand, proving that distance doesn’t diminish purpose.
